1. Service description
DeepDNA is a European genomic intelligence platform that analyses existing DNA genotype files (from providers such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, and others) and generates a comprehensive report covering health risk assessments, pharmacogenomic profiles, nutrigenomic insights, and ancestry analysis.
The service is provided by DeepDNA, based in the European Union.
DeepDNA is offered as a one-time analysis service. The current price is €29 per analysis (inclusive of applicable taxes). This is a single payment with no recurring charges, no subscriptions, and no hidden fees.
2. Eligibility
To use DeepDNA, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and truthful information when using the service
By using DeepDNA, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We do not knowingly provide services to individuals under the age of 18.
3. User responsibilities
When using DeepDNA, you agree to the following:
- Own data only. You must only upload DNA genotype files that belong to you, or for which you have obtained explicit, informed consent from the data subject. Uploading another person's genetic data without their consent is a violation of these terms and may constitute a breach of applicable data protection law.
- Lawful use. You will use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
- Accurate information. Any information you provide to DeepDNA (including your email address) must be accurate and current.
- No misrepresentation. You will not present DeepDNA reports as medical diagnoses, clinical test results, or professional medical advice to any third party.
- File integrity. You are responsible for ensuring that the DNA file you upload is a valid genotype file in a supported format. DeepDNA is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by corrupted, modified, or fabricated input files.
4. Data handling and privacy
Your privacy is fundamental to how we built DeepDNA. Our data handling practices are described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Key principles:
- We process your DNA file to generate your report, then delete it. We do not retain your genetic data.
- We comply fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the special protections for genetic data under Article 9.
- We set zero cookies and use no third-party trackers.
- We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way.
For any data-related enquiries or to exercise your GDPR rights, contact us at [email protected].
5. Payment and refunds
DeepDNA is a one-time purchase service priced at €29. Payment is collected before the analysis is processed.
Under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. However, by requesting that the analysis begin immediately upon payment, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be lost once the digital content (your report) has been fully delivered, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.
If we are unable to process your file or generate a report due to a technical issue on our end, you will receive a full refund.
6. Disclaimers
Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
- DeepDNA reports are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Genetic risk scores represent statistical probabilities, not certainties. A higher risk does not mean you will develop a condition, and a lower risk does not guarantee you will not.
- The science of genomics is evolving. Current understanding of genetic variants and their associations may change as new research is published.
- DeepDNA does not claim that its analysis is complete or exhaustive. Genotype files contain a subset of your genetic information, not your full genome. Some variants relevant to your health may not be present in your file.
- DeepDNA is not a medical device as defined under EU Regulation 2017/745 (MDR) and has not been certified as such.

13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DeepDNA regarding your use of the service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. For details on how your data is analysed, see our Methodology page.
